I shoved a half-eaten package of raw shrimp to the back of my refrigerator a couple months ago. Here's what it turned into.

A couple weeks ago, I went on a field trip to Hedgehog Island with my third graders. It was a lot of fun. We just played sports, ate fried chicken and kimbap, and drank beer (yeah, some of the teachers brought beer). I learned how to play chokoo, which is like a combination of volleyball and soccer. You can see a picture of some of my co-teachers playing below. I was too scared to play with them because they looked really good, so I waited and played with the students later.

Last weekend was the mime festival that happens every year in Chuncheon. South Korea's ex-president bit the dust last week, so some of the festivities got cancelled out of respect. I was disappointed because there was supposed to be an all-night party on Friday, but they called it off. It was okay, though, because I went to a dance club called Arabian Night Club and had a blast. The Korean girls loved my waygook dance moves. As usual, I was a little shocked to walk outside and see daylight. I love that bars and clubs and noraebangs (karaoke rooms) here stay open until the owners get fed up with you and kick you out on the street, which usually happens around 5 AM.

Fortunately, all the mime festival activities picked back up on Saturday, so I pulled another all-nighter out at the park and had another wonderful night. The performances ranged from amazing to painfully boring, but there was plenty of good company and good (well, cheap) drinks to keep things entertaining. I never got a good seat, so most of my performance photos aren't too great.

Some of my students wrote down these answers earlier this week. The first one is vaguely on topic (we were talking about social problems around the world), although I'm not sure how Michael Jordan fits in. The other one is mostly incomprehensible. Hopefully you can read them.

I just looked up "Operation CWAL" and found this.

EDIT: Okay, I think most of the things on that paper are just Starcraft cheat codes.
